Taper Pins

The fasteners are externally and internally threaded, which is used to align components that must be taken apart and reassembled frequently. Taper pins do not create much wear and tear compared to cylindrical pins. Standard-size taper pins have a taper on the diameter of 1:48, while metric taper pins have a taper of 1:50. Some Taper Pins have a male screw thread on the one end designed to project through the hole and keep the pin with a nut and a washer.
