Semi-tubular rivet minimizes the amount of force needed for application by rolling the tubular portion outward. These are the most common forms of rivets used and can be used for multiple applications, such as luggage, brakes, and 3-ring binders. Depending on the application, semi-tubular rivets can be either tight or loose.
